Please join Jennifer Kindel, SCDNR’s State Bat Biologist, and Mary Frazer, Three Oaks Engineering’s Bat Biologist, for a presentation on Getting Batty in SC. Jennifer and Mary will be teaming up to speak about bat habitat in SC, regulations to protect these species, and bat survey methodologies.

  • What are common bat habitats?
  • Why and how are bats protected on federal and state levels?
  • What are the recent and upcoming regulatory changes in bat protections?
  • How will these changes effect environmental professionals?
  • The five W’s of bat surveying.
