about us

The National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP) is an interdisciplinary organization dedicated to developing the highest standards of ethics and proficiency in the environmental professions across multiple states. Members are public and private sector professionals who promote excellence in decision-making in light of environmental, social, and economic impacts of those decision. The National Association of Environmental Professionals - South Carolina Chapter (NAEP-SC) is a multidisciplinary nonprofit 501(c)(3) professional organization made up researchers, biologists, consultants, wetland scientists, planners, regulators, educators, attorneys, engineers, geologists, and many other disciplines within the environmental profession.

 

The mission of NAEP-SC is to:

  1. provide a diverse group of environmental professionals and students the opportunity to network and exchange ideas,

  2. foster education about environmental regulations and topics that impact the state of South Carolina,

  3. facilitate solutions to environmental challenges,

  4. recognize environmental achievements that have demonstrated leadership, integrity, and innovation, and

  5. promote environmental ethics and integrity.

 

As a member of NAEP-SC, you will be able to attend local chapter events at a discounted rate. A membership also gives you access to our member directory, a comprehensive database that links you to environmental professionals in the state of South Carolina. More importantly, you will have the opportunity to learn from, share ideas, and collaborate with fellow environmental professionals.
